A DIY Workshop for Designing Your Early Product // BUSINESS 288, DESIGN 141

San Kim, Founder and CEO, Easel

Thursday, August 25th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

How do you hack together an early product without significant design resources? One common solution is to "borrow" from other successful products, learning about UX/UI along the way. In this workshop format, we'll learn how to pick bits and pieces from other designs, and how to tweak them to fit your objectives.

San is the founder/CEO of Easel, the company behind ShowMeApp.com. He also helps organize the NYC Lean Startup Meetup and the Columbia Venture Community, and holds a BA in Music. He's a self-taught UX designer and front-end developer, and is obsessed with learning from people who are better at stuff than he is. He blogs at sanonstartups.com.
